FAQS

Is airfare included in the package? Winspire typically includes accommodations in each Experience, but not airfare to allow winners additional flexibility in their travel (this way, they can choose which airport they’d like to fly out of, what airline they book with, what seat type they prefer, etc.). Experience costs are based on hotel room rack rates for the specified number of nights in the package description, and Winspire’s travel agents can add on extra nights at the winning bidder’s request for an additional fee.

  • What specific amenities are covered? Are meals, beverages, hotel taxes, and gratuities included. Personal incidentals and local transportation are generally the winner's responsibility.

  • How many guests does this accommodate? While many packages are for couples (2 people), some private residences can accommodate groups of 4 to 10 guests.

  • Can the package be customized? Yes! Our team of travel professionals can accommodate many requests from winning bidders, including booking additional hotel nights, adding extra people to an Experience, or incorporating more excursions and activities into travelers’ itineraries (depending on vendor availability).

  1. Booking & Usage Constraints

    • Are there any blackout dates? Sometimes, but not often. The few blackout dates that come up are dependent on third-party providers’ availability and package offerings (i.e., if an Experience is associated with a specific event, such as the Kentucky Derby or Country Music Awards, the winner must take the trip when that event is happening). Winners are only subject to additional costs if they want to add hotel nights or extra excursions to their Experience.

    • How long do I have to book and travel? Booking Vouchers will become available within one week of our receiving payment. Once a Winning Bidder receives their Booking Voucher, they can begin the redemption process as soon as they’d like. Winners have to book their Experiences at least 60 days prior to the requested travel date and within one year of purchase unless otherwise noted in their individual listings.

    • How does the fulfillment process work? All of our Experiences include a simple and convenient travel booking and concierge service. Begin by entering your Trip Booking number and last name.  Our team of travel experts will take it from there, handling reservations and booking your Experience down to every last detail.

    • Is the package transferable? Yes. You can always transfer your trip to a friend, family member or colleague.

  2. Financial & Ethical Considerations

    • How much of my bid goes to the nonprofit? For consignment items, the nonprofit pays a fixed "nonprofit cost" only if the item sells; 100% of the funds raised above that cost go directly to the organization.

    • Is my purchase tax-deductible? Bidders should consult their accountants, but generally, only the amount paid above the fair market value (FMV) of the package may be considered a tax-deductible donation.

    • Is this a "timeshare" presentation? No Most reputable fundraising travel packages do not require winners to attend timeshare presentations or sales pitches.

    • What happens if I need to cancel or rebook? All bids are final; There you go Well there you go that's no refunds will be Issued. winning bidders are responsible for all rebooking or cancelation fees charged by the travel provider
